Roy is a Managing Director at Crane, where he leads investments in AI and Deeptech across India and APAC, partnering with founders building globally ambitious companies.
He joins Crane following over a decade at Sequoia Capital India & Southeast Asia (now Peak XV), where he was an early-stage investor and a key contributor to the Surge program. Roy has worked closely with founders from inception through scale, developing deep conviction around what it takes to build enduring technology companies.
His experience combines institutional insight, trusted founder relationships, and on-the-ground presence across one of the world’s most dynamic innovation ecosystems.
