Memories AI Is Building the Visual Memory Layer for AI
By Richard Snee, on behalf of The Crane Team
AI systems are becoming remarkably good at seeing the world.
The next challenge is remembering it.
Memories AI is building persistent visual memory—the ability for AI systems, robots and wearable devices to understand not only what they see in a single moment, but everything they have experienced over time.
That capability could become a foundational layer for robotics, spatial computing and intelligent assistants.
Why we're excited
Large language models gave AI knowledge. Vision models gave AI perception. The next frontier is memory. Intelligent systems need to understand not only what they're seeing right now, but what they've seen before and how those experiences connect over time. Memories AI is building that persistent visual memory layer—a capability we believe will become fundamental to the next generation of intelligent systems.
Congratulations to the entire Memories AI team. We look forward to watching what comes next.
